Activities:
Swimming/beaches: there are several sandy beaches within 5-10 mins walking distance including a sheltered and secluded sandy cove ideal for snorkelling/catching real crabs!
Golf: Cruit Island golf course is only a short distance away. Some spectacular holes and views. Several other links courses in the northwest of Donegal also.
Walking: several quiet walks on Cruit Island itself or across the sands at low tide to Kincasslagh . More demanding walks in the region include Errigal and Muckish mountains. Horn Head etc.
Fishing: Fly fishing on the nearby lakes of the Rosses fisheries. Also shore fishing from the rocks on Cruit or deep sea fishing nearby.
Kayaking near Carrickfinn beach (Rapidkayak).
